Most acorns fall, root, and stay in one place forever. One didn't. It cracked open on a windy October morning, sprouted three leaves instead of branches, and started walking.
Locals call him CHESTER. He's got a green scarf, a backpack full of trail mix, and exactly one rule: wherever the leaves are turning, he goes there next. "Fall is my season," he says — usually while waving at a road sign.

Somewhere in the mountains, Chester falls in behind a little orange car loaded with luggage, matching its pace mile for mile down the wet, leaf-covered road. He never catches up. He doesn't want to — the road is the whole point.
STOP 02 — THE HOT DOG STAND

A roadside stand run by an old bear serves the best chili dogs on the route. Chester orders a cocoa and somehow leaves with three new travel companions — a hedgehog, a pumpkin, and a ghost who insists on paying in exact change.
STOP 03 — THE OVERLOOK
The Town Below
At the top of the ridge, the four of them stop talking. Below, a whole town is folding itself into evening — chimney smoke, church spires, a sun that isn't in any hurry to leave.
STOP 04 — THE CAMPFIRE
A place where stories are born
Every journey ends the same way: a campfire, four steaming mugs, and someone who insists that their version of the day's events is the only correct one. No one corrects them — it's warm by the fire, and the season has only just begun.
